eR@sers is a team for robot competition and research at Tamagawa University. We conduct research and development in robotics and artificial intelligence to build smarter home service robots. Serving as both a learning platform for education and an evaluation benchmark for our developed technologies, our team participates in several robot competitions, such as RoboCup@Home.

  • We successfully fine-tuned the VLA Model π0 using five hours of training data collected in our lab. We then deployed the model onto the HSR. Based on a natural language command, “Clear the table,” the robot was able to execute the task completely autonomously!

    Member

Our team is composed of members from a wide range of academic levels, from first-year undergraduate students in engineering to doctoral students in graduate school. We actively share the latest research outcomes produced by our PhD students with the entire team, while also contributing to STEM education for undergraduate students. Through this collaborative structure, we pursue both research and education as two complementary pillars of our team activities.

In addition, our team is supervised by three faculty members from the Department of Information and Communication Engineering and one faculty member from the Advanced Intelligence and Robotics Research Center at the Brain Science Institute. Together, we foster an open and interdisciplinary research and education environment, and we validate the outcomes of these activities through participation in RoboCup competitions.

    Robotics Lab

A space modeled after an actual living room and kitchen. We use this area to verify the performance of home service robots in a domestic environment.

    Location

We conduct research and development on robotics and AI in the Robotics Lab (Room 220), located next to the 2nd-floor entrance of STREAM Hall 2019.
